    @DownPW Potentially dumb question, but why is the path /home/nodebb/nodebb ?

    Also, why are you trying to install the 18.x branch when you should be using 19.x ?

    I see

    This should be

    cd /home/nodebb
git clone -b v1.19.x https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB.git nodebb
cd nodebb

    I think they really have a problem on the github and coincidentally it’s a plugin on which they had big problems that was in question. (emoji)

    @DownPW Looks like that’s waiting for a response from something. Have you run this site through the F12 developer tools -> Network tab to see where the delay is ?

    @DownPW Yes, you’re right. For some strange reason, that CSS file is not being served - but should be on your server if you check the path.

    @cagatay The most reliable way to upgrade Node.js on Ubuntu depends on how you originally installed it. Method 1: Using NVM (Recommended) If you already use Node Version Manager (NVM), upgrading is simple. NVM allows you to keep both versions and switch between them if needed. Install Node 22: nvm install 22 Switch to Node 22: nvm use 22 Set it as your default: nvm alias default 22 Verify the change: node -v Method 2: Using NodeSource (PPA) If you installed Node.js via apt using the NodeSource repository, you need to update the repository script to point to the new version.     @phenomlab I am on a Mac, so I used the “Option + Command + I”, and then performed the steps. It loaded my favicon! I checked on Firefox which I haven’t used before, and it showed my favicon also! That’s fantastic and thank you for the help!

    @crazycells hi - no security reason, or anything specific in this case. However, the nginx.conf I posted was from my Dev environment which uses this port as a way of not interfering with production. And yes, I use clustering on this site with three instances.

    @crazycells hmm. Good point. I actually use my own version of the dark mode plugin, so not entirely sure. However, I think the CSS is probably the same. I’m not at my PC currently but can check and advise later.
