I have to give an update on this. I talked to my father in law a week or two ago when he was visiting and he updated me that Fedora Linux was still treating them good. He said he really liked it and that my mother in law is liking it as well. He even said that he came across a couple of minor issues and was able to solve them on his own. I thought wow, that is awesome! So I am going to say with all confidence right now, that if those two can switch to Linux from Winblows that ANYONE can switch.
